today I filmed my daughter’s martial art class doing their training. the teacher helping them stretching their legs to 180 degrees, to gain the middle split. middle split is the very basic flexibility skill you need to master if you want to be a martial art master. without the middle split, you can’t kick high, you can’t backflip, then you will be eliminated.
the beginning of the flexibility training is hard, like this video. you have to break your own limits, hold it for 10 seconds, so you will feel the pain. after practicing and practicing, you will enjoy it, like people said, no pain no gain!

Please don’t imitate the training in this video by yourself. The students in the video are professional martial art learners and have been studying for more than one year. The teachers have more than five years of teaching experience, so they dare to train students like this.
The students in the video are challenging to a higher level of flexibility, chasing the black belt, so the training of the teachers is more intense. But this kind of training is harmless because the students have already warmed up before the training, the bones and muscles have been totally relaxed, after the training, the students will get the corresponding auxiliary massage to eliminate the muscle pain.
Everyone has limited ability to withstand the pain, so you can see some of the students screaming or crying in the video, and some students are not. but This is good in flexibility training, If it is not painful, that means students have not broken his or her own limit, then he or she will not make progress, and such pain is controllable. also screaming or crying helping them inhale and exhale, relax the tighten muscle, relieve the pain, then they can hold in that position for enough time, that is the goal when doing the flexibility stretching.
Their parents pay tuition to let them study in this course, so the teacher gets the parents’ permission to train them, to make them stronger, and the parents recognize the teaching method.
